Hon. Jennifer Guzman Hosey is a Bolivian-American politician. Congressman Jamie Raskin endorsed her to go to Harvard where she earned a Master in Public Administration. For seven years, she has held elected party office in Maryland representing nearly 50,000 people. In this role, she spearheaded and co-led democratizing reform for all Maryland Central Committee members to be elected on the Primary Election ballot. After undergraduate studies, she worked full time in Senator Ted Kennedy’s (D-MA) Capitol Hill Foreign Policy and Defense Office as an intern directly under the Foreign Policy Advisor and Defense Counsel. There, she relied on her understanding of Russia and Eastern Europe gained at the Scholars International Studies Program at the University of Maryland, College Park where she earned a BA in Government and Politics, minoring in History. She was a pledged delegate for President Barack Obama at the 2012 Democratic National Convention. She extensively studied constitutionalism in Latin America and is proud of her Spanish and Native South American (Quechua and Aymara) roots.
