How does your experience prepare you for the duties of a Central Committee member? 

Having been elected to this position before, it is an honor and privilege to serve. Thank you. Rep. Jamie Raskin endorsed me to go to Harvard - I earned a Master in Public Administration. I began my career in Senator Ted Kennedy’s (D-MA) Capitol Hill office. My well-researched, experienced, and carefully thought-out decisions have expanded YOUR rights. I distinguish myself working hard for YOU.

 What inspires you to serve on the Central Committee? 

Democracy cannot be taken for granted, it takes experience to protect our community and our country. The residents of our district inspire me every day to bring the full force of my determination, dedication, and creativity to the Central Committee. As a Bolivian-American with extensive public policy and political experience, I am a skilled listener when engaging diverse individuals & communities.

FILLING VACANCIES IN OFFICE: What criteria will you use when considering candidates to fill a vacancy in the General Assembly or other office?

I am well-known as the only member of the Central Committee to vet EVERY General Assembly candidate and be available to interview them in-person. I am the only candidate for this seat to take innovative initiatives to improve the democracy and transparency of the process. I am the only experienced candidate defending reproductive rights, stem cell research funding and LGBTQ rights in this process.
